Only the most professional-looking of the Islamic clothing makes it into this category, but some of the Islamic clothing in the main section could possibly be worn for a professional job. When I used to work in an office, I liked to wear blazers/jackets with a long skirt. A contemporary denim blazer with a long, black skirt looks smart, and you’d find those items listed in other categories (follow the links to find them).

In a professional situation, I also particularly like pantsuits from department stores if the jackets are long enough. In ’98-2000, the mainstream stores were packed with duster-length professional jackets, so I had a huge variety of suits to pick from. Here are some department stores with some choices for professional modest clothing. If you are tall, petite, plus-sized, and/or pregnant, you’ll have more choices at these department stores than on Islamic clothing sites.
