I’ve combed through all the online stores I could find that sell sun protective clothing and swimwear to help make your hunt quicker. I had my toddler in a sun protection suit his first summer at the city pool, and he was the only one! I thought there would be at least one other toddler wearing one. One of the other moms pointed out to me that I must not find much sand in his pants, and, indeed, I hadn’t been because his suit was one piece. I would never have known that sand-free pants was an extra benefit of a full-coverage suit if she hadn’t pointed it out because I’m a first-time mom. I hope to see other kids out there in sun protection suits before too long so my boy doesn’t feel alone wearing one.
