If you need custom sewing services, the simply dressed Christians and Muslims have a lot of seamstresses listed to sew the types of clothing those communities wear. If other groups have seamstresses listed, they can be seen on the pages for a given group. The Pakistani/Indian shops tend to offer custom design of their products as a regular service which is very nice if you are tall, petite, or plus-sized. Whatever your modest needs are, the custom options at South Asian shops let you design an outfit that meets those needs. I had a trouser suit made with long sleeves, a modest neckline, and lining.

If youre looking for modest white clothing, the Latter Day Saints have everything in white. The dresses are long-sleeved, floor-length, and beautiful. Click the links in Temple wear.
If youre searching for forearm covers, Islamic sites and the sun protection sites carry them.
If youre looking for long nightgowns, check out the simply dressed Christian sites and my new Oldies But Goodies section.

If youre looking for jumpers, the simply dressed Christians have the greatest selection. UPDATE: The stores in my new Oldies But Goodies section sell jumpers, too, and one Islamic site has started carrying them. ANOTHER UPDATE: Now also in my new classic modest clothing section.
If you wear jumpers and havent yet found the pettiblouse, you have to see it. I imagine that if I wore jumpers that I would like this item.

If you want to keep your legs from being hot and sticky when wearing skirts and to prevent chaffing, check out all the listings for bloomers, pettipants, pantalettes, long-legged panties, culotte slips, and pant liners. I purchased cotton loungewear or pajama pants at Target® for this problem. They are made of a thin cotton, so they keep me cool in the summer.

Many types of layering shirts from different stores that cater to modesty.
If you’re looking for long chemise or long camisoles to wear under longer styles of sheer shirts, including tunics and South Asian kameez & kurti, check out the following link for long chemise: Reems Eastern Fashions. They have hard-to-find colored chemise. Run-of-the-mill camisoles are not long enough for the longer styles of shirts. If you dont want a line showing about halfway down your shirt where the camisole ends, try a chemise or try what a friend of mine did. She altered a full slip by shortening it and adding side slits thus making a long camisole/chemise. I was looking for chemise to wear under two semi-sheer tunics I had when I saw her invention, so I went online and promptly bought two full slips to cut off to two different lengths. The chemise at Reems Eastern Fashions is very inexpensive. I wanted more coverage on top, so I got a full-cut slip. The one I got was 100% cotton so it keeps me cool underneath. (I got mine at AmeriMark
, but they dont have it for sale anymore.)
If you need maternity chemise, I think the second option is the best because I havent seen maternity chemise. The second option is to alter a maternity full slip—make it shorter if needed, and cut out wide side slits to match up to the slits on the tunic (kameez).
If you want to wear something under pants that are too see-through,
pant liners look like they would work well.
